Choosing a cottage in Quebec for your micro wedding or elopement can feel overwhelming because there are so many options and yet we often want to have a recommendation so that we are not walking in blind and making a reservation somewhere that will ultimately be lackluster. So I wanted to make a list for you to give you some tried and true options that you can be confident will be perfect for you!
Nöge 1 Cottage in Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval, Quebec
This is a beautiful Scandinavian-style cottage near Quebec City is equally stunning and tranquil in the winter as it is in the summer. In the Fall, the colours are remarkably stunning. There are many other cottages to choose from with Nöge Hébergement but I particularly loved Nöge 1 for its view on the little lake and big mountain and because of its beautiful decor. There is a hot tub built into the outdoor patio overlooking the mountains to enjoy. Walking around the property is a beautiful rushing river with a mountain backdrop and many forest trails. This makes for a great elopement spot featuring many different nature backdrops and lots of adventuring possible on one property without having to drive around. And with the many other cottages on site, if you’re having a micro wedding, your guests can stay in the other accommodations. Or I have other recommendations for great spots for your guests to stay if you prefer.

LD Cabin – Cottage in Mont Tremblant
This stunning cottage in Mont Tremblant is luxurious and breathtaking. Driving up to this cabin, I wondered if I my little car was going to make it because of how far up the mountain it is! No it was fine! But I was amazed how far up this cabin was giving ridiculously beautiful views and feeling like you’re on top of the world! It’s truly stunning with large sweeping windows in the main room overlooking the vast landscape of mountains. The bedrooms are so luxurious and perfect for a honeymoon stay. This is a great spot to get ready for your big day whether you want to get ready together or not see each other until the First Look/ceremony because of how big the cabin is with multiple rooms. Then why not take a helicopter ride to the top of one of the mountains that gives a 360 view for your vows? The hot tub overlooking the mountain landscape back at this cabin under the stars after your micro wedding or elopement would be the cherry on top.

Hinter Cabin X – Cottage in Tremblant, Quebec
This cabin is located in La Conception just outside of Mont Tremblant and it is a stunning mountain nature retreat. Romantic, luxurious, peaceful and private, this is absolutely perfect for your micro wedding or elopement! It is only 15 minutes from the Mont Tremblant village. There are so many activities you can do in every season here. Cozy up here in the winter for a stunning winter elopement or enjoy the summer activities Tremblant has to offer as you prepare for your micro wedding with your closest people.
Le Chalet Perché – North of Mont Tremblant, Quebec
Can you imagine getting married in a Treehouse??? Did you expect to see a Treehouse option when reading a blog about cottages in Quebec? This is the most rustic cottage idea for your micro wedding or elopement that I will be sharing here but how epic is this? It’s your childhood dreams come to life in a beautifully rustic and charming treehouse. It is the perfect nature retreat with the ultimate privacy. And the best thing is, just 15 minutes walk away is a beautiful viewpoint of the lake and mountains where the sunset is on point. And it’s on the property so it’s private to you! No sharing the viewpoint. And why not end the night with a sweet canoe ride together?
Le Hobbit – Eastern Townships of Quebec
If you are like me, you are a Lord of the Rings fan. When I saw this Hobbit hole cottage, I wanted to get married all over again and do my elopement here! It is strikingly accurate to all you envision of what a Hobbit hole should be like. The Eastern Townships of Quebec are so beautiful. We tend to always think of the Laurentians when we think of where to go in Quebec but the Eastern Townships have beautiful landscapes and many places to discover from charming villages to beautiful nature spots.
Lagöm – Maëlstrom Mountain outside Quebec City
This is a top-level mountain getaway. The mountains outside Quebec City are next level wow! The architecture of the Lagöm cabin is simple yet bold. It is high up in the mountains, the website noting that it is 550 meters above sea level where you will see the vastness of the valley below. It is only 30 minutes away from Quebec City so there are many things you can do in the surrounding areas to celebrate your micro wedding. This is the perfect place to stay for your honeymoon after you’ve celebrated your commitment together.
