Erieau Beach is located on the northeastern shore of Lake Erie. The town has a fine local brewery and some excellent perch and pickerel, and it is charming, laid-back, and busy in the summer.
Erieau is similar to other beach towns in the region in that it has a charming shoreline restaurant, a bustling marina, cabins, cottages for renting, and a few unusual boutiques for shopping. However, it differs greatly from the typical beach resorts tourists flock to throughout the summer. There’s a lot less of a “tourist trap” vibe and a lot more of a “beer in hand, toes in the water” country tune vibe.
So, if you want to experience the laid-back beach wedding or elopement, I suggest Erieau!
